 Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel
Current EPA standards require a major reduction in the sulfur content
of on-road diesel fuel and in the emissions levels from diesel
engines and vehicles. To meet these EPA requirements, Aloha Petroleum
began selling the new EPA standard diesel, now called Ultra Low
Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) in late 2006.
Aloha’s ULSD is 15 parts per million (ppm) sulfur, significantly
lower than the traditional 500-1,500 ppm levels previously used.
Plus, in order to continue Aloha’s commitment to providing
the finest quality products, a premium additive package called
PowerKing is
also added to the ULSD finished product before delivery.
